or house chores after sustained a body injury

by an occupational therapist
- After the assessment, the therapist will provide education to the
client on
- the use of proper body mechanics to facilitate the participation of daily
activities;
- the work simplification and energy conservation strategies in the daily
task;
- the proper use of the suggested assistive devices, such as back-supporting
cushion
- the consequent visit(s) will review the progress of the client and
further provide education on the concept of hurt VS harm
Job-Site Analysis

is an important procedure during the design of a return-to-work plan for
the client

nature and physical requirement of the job
- The result of JSA will be compared with the present physical
ability of the client through a Functional ability Evaluation (FAE)
- The outline of the work hardening program will be based on these
results
- For a successful return-to-work, it requires the participation and
coordination of the multi-disciplinary team include family physician,
